v26.3.3: Native iOS Simulator Preview
The iOS Simulator preview in Braid now runs on serve-sim, so you get the real device bezel with native touch, keyboard, and hardware buttons right in the right panel. Deleting a worktree is also safer, with clear feedback while it runs.
Added
- Native iOS Simulator preview - The simulator view now embeds serve-sim instead of streaming video frames. It draws the device bezel and passes touch, keyboard, and hardware button input straight through CoreSimulator, so the preview feels like the real Simulator. If serve-sim isn't available on your setup, Braid falls back to the previous stream automatically.
- Locked down to your machine - The serve-sim preview only listens on
127.0.0.1and rejects requests from other sites, so web pages can't reach your simulator. - Safer worktree deletion - Deleting a worktree now shows a spinner on its row and disables clicks, dragging, and the context menu until it finishes. Double-clicking Delete no longer fires two deletions, and if deletion fails, the row returns to normal and your "don't ask again" choice isn't saved.
